Um eine Fähigkeit, eine Fertigkeit oder auch eine generelle Möglichkeit auszudrücken, wird in den meisten Fällen can oder may verwendet. Hierbei gibt es bestimmte Abstufungen, nicht nur in der Qualität der Aussage, sondern auch im Verständnis.
