| Verwendung von both / the two |
| a) Both tritt sowohl adjektivisch als auch substantivisch auf. |
| b) Both kann auch in Verbindung mit Artikeln und Pronomen verwendet werden, es steht dann immer vor dem Artikel bzw. Pronomen. |
| c) Oftmals lässt man den bestimmten Artikel weg, wenn both verwendet wird. |
| d) Will man zwei Dinge beschreiben, ohne ihre Zusammengehörigkeit zu betonen, verwendet man the two. |
